Vehicle Testing  
EB can assist with laboratory, track, and proving ground testing. This can range from vehicle instrumentation and data acquisition for specialized tests, to support for standardized test protocols.

For example, we can provide equipment and engineering resources to build/validate vehicle models for simulation, assess prototype and production vehicle build quality, and develop test protocols to support databases and libraries.   More -->

Motorsports Lap Time Simulation
Energy Balance serves as the North American technical liaison for AeroLap, the powerful lap time analysis tool from Ansible design.  AeroLap is used to predict vehicle maximum performance capability along a defined path such as a race track or open segment.

The physics, driver, and nonlinear vehicle models together offer realistic, accurate results that are superior to other methods. Additional modeling support tools are available to assisit with suspension kinematic design and wind tunnel mapping.    More -->

Tire Temperature Profiling
Energy Balance is the exclusive North American distributor for TyreTempPro, the powerful thermal analysis tool from RennWerk Engineering. TyreTempPro is a unique thermal imaging + software solution for monitoring tire surface temperatures.

This turn-key measurement system can be installed in both open and closed wheel vehicle configurations, as well as on laboratory tire measurement machines.  The combination of logged video and high resolution temperature measurements is invaluable for understanding tire behavior and for informing thermo-mechanical tire models.    More -->

Tire/Surface Characterization
Tires are the sole mechanism for delivering driver control forces, and as such, they demand quite a bit of our attention.  EB works with a number of premier test facilities and engineering firms around the world, and can deliver unique tire characterization solutions based on client needs.

Driving Simulators
Energy Balance serves as a system integrator for turn-key Human and Hardware in the Loop (H2iL) ground vehicle simulators.  Although "driving simulators" have been around for some time, their usefulness as engineering tools is just beginning to come of age.

Engineering-class driving simulators are a breed apart from entertainment-class systems, as they bring together sophisticated graphics and motion cueing systems that are aimed towards stimulating drivers to interact realistically with detailed vehicle dynamics models.   More -->
